From Smyrna, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Route 88 bus towards Nashville. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, getting off at the 'Nashville Music City Center' stop. From there, transfer to the Route 3 bus heading towards 'Old Hickory Blvd'. Get off at the 'Farrell Pkwy' stop. The Historic Travellers Rest Historic House Museum is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head southeast on Farrell Pkwy, and you will find the museum at 636 Farrell Pkwy.

If you're near the center of Smyrna, you can walk to the nearest public transport stop to take the bus to Nashville. From the Smyrna Town Center, head north on Sam Ridley Pkwy towards the intersection with New Salem Rd. Continue straight to reach the bus stop. Once you arrive in Nashville, follow the public bus directions to get to the museum.
