Getting There

• Public Transit - Bus

  To reach The Derrick Event Center from anywhere in Amarillo using the bus, find the nearest bus stop and board 'Route 1'. This route typically stops at major locations in Amarillo. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at 'S Taylor St & 9th Ave'. From there, exit the bus and walk south on South Taylor Street. Continue walking for about three blocks until you reach 814 S Taylor St #100. The Derrick Event Center will be on your left.

• Walking

  If you're already in the downtown area, you can walk to The Derrick Event Center. Start at the intersection of 6th Street and Taylor Street. Head south on Taylor Street for approximately 8 blocks. After crossing over 9th Avenue, continue walking for another block until you reach 814 S Taylor St #100. The Derrick Event Center will be on your left side, and you should see the entrance clearly.

  For those who prefer cycling, there are bike lanes on several streets in Amarillo. If you are near the Amarillo Civic Center, head south on Buchanan Street until you reach 9th Avenue. Turn left on 9th Avenue and ride east until you reach South Taylor Street. Turn right onto South Taylor Street and ride south for about 3 blocks until you arrive at 814 S Taylor St #100. The Derrick Event Center will be on your left.
