Getting There
-
Public Transit
From The Woodlands Town Center, locate the nearest bus stop for the Woodlands Express. Board the bus heading to the Montgomery area. The trip will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the Montgomery bus terminal, exit the bus and use a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Fernland Historical Park, located at 770 Clepper Dr, Montgomery, TX 77356. The rideshare will take about 10 minutes.

Biking
If you prefer biking, start at The Woodlands Town Center and head north on the bike trails. Follow the trails until you reach Research Forest Dr. Continue on the bike path until you reach the intersection with Woodlands Parkway. From there, take a left onto Woodlands Parkway and bike north for several miles until you reach the town of Montgomery. Once in Montgomery, navigate to Clepper Dr, where you will find Fernland Historical Park. The total biking distance is approximately 10 miles and can take around 1-1.5 hours, depending on your pace.

Walking
Walking to Fernland Historical Park from The Woodlands is not practical due to the distance and lack of pedestrian pathways. If you are determined to walk, you can take the Woodlands waterway to the north and then find a safe route along the roads towards Montgomery. However, I recommend using a bike or public transit for convenience.
