Cross the street at the designated crosswalk to stay safe, and continue walking east along the perimeter of the zoo until you arrive at the main entrance located at 650 S R.L. Thornton Fwy. The total walking distance is approximately 1 mile and should take about 20-25 minutes.

    From the Bishop Arts District, walk to the nearest DART bus stop located on W 7th St. Catch the DART bus route 724 (check the current schedule for exact times) heading toward the Dallas Zoo.
