Start your journey from downtown El Paso. Head to the El Paso Transit Terminal located at 700 W San Antonio Ave. Take Sun Metro Bus Route 16 (which goes towards the Westside). You will need to pay your fare, and the bus runs every 30 minutes. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the stop at Scenic Drive. Once you get off the bus, walk along Scenic Drive for about 10 minutes. You will see signs pointing to the Mountain View Scenic Drive Overlook, which is located at Scenic Drive - Overlook, El Paso, TX 79902.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in downtown El Paso. From the downtown area, head west on Franklin Ave, which turns into Scenic Drive. Follow Scenic Drive up into the foothills. The ride is approximately 3 miles with some uphill sections, so be prepared for a bit of a workout. After about 20-30 minutes, you will arrive at Mountain View, where you can enjoy the scenic overlook.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the El Paso Museum of Art located at 1 Arts Festival Plaza. Head west on Main Street until you reach Franklin Ave, then turn left. Follow Franklin Ave as it turns into Scenic Drive. The entire walk is about 2.5 miles and will take around 45 minutes to an hour. As you walk, you’ll notice the changing scenery of the city and surrounding mountains. Once you reach Scenic Drive - Overlook, you will find the Mountain View Scenic Overlook.
