Public Bus
From anywhere in Irving, find the nearest DART bus stop. You can take Bus Route 402 towards the 'Westmoreland Station'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Westmoreland Station'. From there, transfer to the DART light rail Green Line towards 'Dallas Convention Center' and ride for about 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Mockingbird Station'. From Mockingbird Station, you can take the DART Bus Route 554 towards 'University Park'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop closest to 'Lakeside Dr'. From there, it’s a short walk to the park entrance at 4601 Lakeside Dr.

Follow the trail north until you reach the intersection with the Trinity River. Continue towards the east until you connect with the bike paths leading to downtown Dallas.
