If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Killeen. Begin your journey heading east on E Stan Schlueter Loop. Follow the road until you reach the intersection with US-190. Continue onto US-190 East towards Temple. The ride is about 20 miles and may take around 1.5 hours. You will pass through beautiful Texan landscapes along the way.

While walking to Temple from Killeen is not recommended due to the distance, if you are determined, start at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center. Head east on E Avenue D, then take a left onto Fort Hood Street. Walk until you reach the junction with US-190. Continue on foot along US-190, which will lead you toward Temple. Be cautious of traffic as this is a busy highway, and it may take several hours to reach Temple this way.
