Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are starting from downtown Laredo, walk to the nearest bus stop where you can catch the Metro Connect bus service. Look for the Metro Connect Line 1. Board the bus heading towards the Laredo International Airport. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at TAMIU (Texas A&M International University). The planetarium is located on the university campus, so once you disembark, follow the signs to the university's main buildings. The planetarium is typically located in the center of the campus. If you're unsure, you can ask any university staff or students for directions.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local bike rental service. Start from downtown Laredo and head west on Zaragoza Street. Continue until you reach the intersection with Loop 20. Turn left and continue until you see signs for Texas A&M International University. Follow the bike lanes alongside the road, and once you reach the university campus, look for signs directing you to the planetarium, which is centrally located on campus.

• Walking

  If you are within walking distance from the university, simply head towards the campus located at 5201 University Blvd. Follow University Boulevard until you reach the main entrance of Texas A&M International University. Once inside the campus, look for the planetarium signs. The TAMIU Planetarium is usually in the main academic building, so ask for directions if needed.
