From McKinney Falls State Park, exit the park and head northwest on McKinney Falls Parkway. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with William Cannon Drive. Turn right onto William Cannon Drive and continue for approximately 4 miles. Once you reach South Congress Avenue, turn left. The Statesman Bat Observation Center will be on your right at 305 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704. There is no entry fee for the observation center itself, but parking may incur a small fee depending on the time of your visit.

From McKinney Falls State Park, you can use Capital Metro public transportation. First, take the #300 bus from the nearest stop at William Cannon Dr near McKinney Falls Parkway heading towards the downtown area. After about 20 minutes, get off at the South Congress Avenue stop. Walk south for about 5 minutes to reach the Statesman Bat Observation Center located at 305 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704. Please check the Capital Metro website for the latest bus schedules and potential fares, which typically range from $1.25 to $2.50 per ride.
