    From downtown New Braunfels, head south on Seguin Ave toward E San Antonio St. Continue straight onto S Walnut Ave, then take a right onto W San Antonio St. Follow this road as it curves right and becomes Gruene Rd. Continue on Gruene Rd for about 1 mile until you reach Hunter Rd. Turn left onto Hunter Rd, and you will find the Gruene Historic District at 1601 Hunter Rd.

    If you are near the Comal River, start by biking north along the riverwalk. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with E San Antonio St. Turn left onto E San Antonio St and bike straight until you hit S Walnut Ave. Take a right onto S Walnut Ave and continue until you reach W San Antonio St. Make a right, then follow the road as it becomes Gruene Rd. Continue straight for about 1 mile, then turn left onto Hunter Rd to reach the Gruene Historic District.

    Catch the bus from the nearest bus stop in downtown New Braunfels. Look for the bus route that goes to Gruene. Stay on the bus as it takes you along the designated route. Once you arrive at the closest bus stop to Gruene, get off and walk towards Hunter Rd. Follow Hunter Rd to your destination at 1601 Hunter Rd.
