To reach the O. Henry House located at 601 Dolorosa St, San Antonio, TX 78207 from New Braunfels, start by taking a bus from the New Braunfels Transit Station. Board the Greyhound bus heading to San Antonio, which operates regularly. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the San Antonio Greyhound Station, exit the station and walk to the nearby bus stop for VIA Metropolitan Transit. Take the VIA bus route 3, which will take you towards Downtown San Antonio. After about 15-20 minutes, get off at the stop at Commerce St and Santa Rosa St. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk. Head southeast on Commerce St, turn left onto Dolorosa St, and the O. Henry House will be on your right.

Head north along the river until you reach Houston St. Turn right onto Houston St and continue until you reach Santa Rosa St. Turn left on Santa Rosa St and walk until you reach Commerce St. Turn right onto Commerce St and then left onto Dolorosa St. The O. Henry House will be just a short walk ahead at 601 Dolorosa St.
