If you are at the southern end of South Padre Island, start at the SPI Visitor Center located at 7355 Padre Blvd. Head north on Padre Blvd for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with the causeway. Cross the causeway, which will take you into Port Isabel. Once you are on the mainland, continue straight to the first major intersection and turn left onto Highway 100. Walk for approximately half a mile, and then turn right onto Railroad St. The Port Isabel Historical Museum will be on your left at 317 Railroad St.
