If you are traveling by car within Padre Island National Seashore, head towards the Malaquite Beach area by following Park Road 22. From the entrance of the park, continue straight for about 15 miles. You will pass several scenic views and beach access points. Look for signs indicating Malaquite Beach. As you approach the beach, you will see a parking area on your right. There is no entrance fee to Malaquite Beach itself, but you may need to pay a fee at the entrance to Padre Island National Seashore, which is currently $25 per vehicle for a week-long pass.
