From the Waco Transit System bus stop at 3rd St & Washington Ave, take the Route 1 bus towards the Waco Downtown area. Get off at the 5th St & Jefferson Ave stop. Walk south on Jefferson Ave for about 2 blocks. The Waco Village Historical Marker will be on your left at 701 Jefferson Ave. This journey takes about 15 minutes, including the bus ride.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Brazos Riverwalk, which is about a mile from the Waco Village Historical Marker. Head north on the Riverwalk and exit towards University Parks Dr. Continue on University Parks Dr until you reach Jefferson Ave. Turn right on Jefferson Ave and bike for about half a mile.
