Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from Phuket. Head north on Route 4030 towards Thalang. Continue onto Route 402 and take the exit towards Phang Nga. Follow this road until you reach Takua Thung District. Look for signs directing you to Phang Nga Bay. Once you reach the pier at Phang Nga, park your car at one of the designated parking areas. There is usually a fee of around 100-200 THB for parking. From the pier, you will need to take a long-tail boat to reach Ko Tapu (James Bond Island). The boat ride typically costs between 1,500 to 3,000 THB per boat, depending on whether you share with others or hire a private boat.

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Phuket to Phang Nga. Buses leave regularly from the Phuket Bus Terminal. The fare is approximately 100-150 THB and the journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Phang Nga, you can take a taxi or tuk-tuk to the pier. The fare for this part of the journey should be around 200-300 THB.
