Turn left onto Route 402 and drive for approximately 5 km. Look for signs towards Koh Maphrao; you will soon see signs indicating the direction to the pier. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

    Public Bus

    From Phuket Town, you can take a public bus (Songthaew) towards the northern part of the island. Get on a bus that is heading to Sarasin Bridge, and inform the driver you want to get off at Ko Kaeo. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Ko Kaeo, you'll need to catch a local taxi or a tuk-tuk to the pier that services Koh Maphrao. The taxi ride from the bus stop to the pier will take around 10-15 minutes and may cost you approximately 200-300 THB.
