Getting There

• BTS Skytrain

  To get to Wat Tha Phra, start by taking the BTS Skytrain. If you are near the Sukhumvit area, board the Sukhumvit Line at either Mo Chit or Asok station and head towards Bang Wa station. This will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Bang Wa station, exit the station and look for the exit that leads to the bus stop. From there, you can take bus number 80 heading towards Phutthamonthon. Ride the bus for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the Wat Tha Phra stop.

• Walking from Nearby Landmarks

  If you are close to nearby landmarks like the Thonburi Railway Station, you can walk to Wat Tha Phra. Head southeast on Ratchadaphisek Road, then take a right onto Krung Thonburi Road. Continue walking straight for about 10-15 minutes until you see the temple on your left. This option is great for those who enjoy walking and want to explore the local area.
