Somdet Phra Pinklao Bridge: A Gateway to Bangkok's Splendor

Getting There

• BTS Skytrain

  Take the BTS Skytrain to the 'Saphan Taksin' station. From there, exit the station and head towards the Chao Phraya River. Look for the pier where you can catch a Chao Phraya Express Boat. Board the boat heading to 'Nonthaburi' and get off at the 'Phra Pinklao Bridge' stop. Upon disembarking, you will be just a short walk from the Somdet Phra Pinklao Bridge.

• Boat

  If you prefer to take a direct boat route, you can also board a long-tail boat from one of the tourist piers along the Chao Phraya River. Ask the boat operator to take you to the Somdet Phra Pinklao Bridge. The ride offers a scenic view of the river and the surrounding areas. Once you arrive at the bridge, you can explore the area nearby.

  Take a public bus from your location. Look for bus routes 203 or 78, which pass by Somdet Phra Pinklao Bridge. You can catch these buses at various bus stops around the city. • Taxi (Motorbike or Tuk-Tuk)

  You can find a motorbike taxi or tuk-tuk at various street corners or designated taxi stands. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Somdet Phra Pinklao Bridge'. Make sure to have the name written in Thai (สะพานสมเด็จพระปิ่นเกล้า) to show them. The ride will take you directly to the bridge, and it's a quick and convenient option if you are close to the area.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby, you can simply walk to the Somdet Phra Pinklao Bridge. Use a map application to guide you or ask locals for directions. The bridge is located on Somdet Phra Pin Klao Road, and it is visible from various points in the area.
