Getting There

• Boat

  To reach Wat Chao Am via boat, head towards the nearest Chao Phraya River Express Boat pier. If you're near the Sathon area, go to the Sathorn Pier (Taksin Pier). Take a boat heading to Nonthaburi and get off at the Phra Arthit Pier. From there, you can catch a motorcycle taxi or a tuk-tuk to Wat Chao Am. The temple is approximately a 10-minute ride from the pier.

• Public Bus

  If you prefer to take a bus, locate the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 57 or 78 from your location towards the Bang Khun Non area. Get off at the bus stop closest to Wat Chao Am, which should be around Bang Khun Non Rd. From the bus stop, it will be a short walk of about 5 minutes to reach the temple.

• BTS Skytrain

  If you're near a BTS Skytrain station, take the train to the Wongwian Yai Station on the Silom Line. Upon exiting the station, head towards the bus stop and take bus number 79 or 83 towards the Bang Khun Non area. Get off at the nearest bus stop to Wat Chao Am, then walk for about 5 minutes to reach the temple.

• Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service

  For a more direct route, you can use a taxi or a ride-hailing app like Grab. Simply input 'Wat Chao Am' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the temple, and it is advisable to have the address written down in Thai: '137 Bang Khun Non Rd, Bang Khun Non, Bangkok Noi, Bangkok 10700' to show the driver.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby and prefer to walk, make your way to Bang Khun Non Rd. Follow the road signs towards the temple, which is located at 137 Bang Khun Non Rd. Depending on your starting point, it might take you around 15-30 minutes to walk there.
