If you're starting from the Old City area, find a nearby tuk tuk station or flag down a tuk tuk on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Wiang Kum Kam' located at 149 หมู่ที่ 2 Somphot Chiang Mai 700 Pi Rd in Saraphi District. The ride should take about 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.

Look for a red songthaew (shared taxi) that is going towards Saraphi. You can catch one from the Old City or any major street. Once you find one, hop on and inform the driver that you want to go to Wiang Kum Kam. The fare is typically around 30-50 THB. The journey may take around 30 minutes. Be sure to ask the driver to drop you off as close to the landmark as possible.

If you prefer a more adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle. From the Old City, head south towards the Ping River, then cross over the bridge. Continue straight on the 700 Pi Road for about 5 kilometers. Follow the signs to Wiang Kum Kam, which will be on your left. This ride should take approximately 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your cycling speed.

If you're feeling adventurous and enjoy walking, you can walk to Wiang Kum Kam from the Old City. Start by heading south towards the Ping River, then cross the bridge. Continue walking on the 700 Pi Road. The total distance is about 5 kilometers, so it will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Ensure you have water and wear comfortable shoes!
