Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, head towards the main entrance of Erawan National Park located on Highway 3199. Follow the signs for the park entrance and pay the entrance fee of approximately 300 THB for adults and 150 THB for children. Once inside the park, follow the main road to the Erawan Waterfall area. After visiting the waterfalls, head back towards the main road and continue until you reach the fork in the road at Tha Kradan. Take the road leading to Tha Kradan and drive for about 10 minutes until you see signs for Chao Dong Raft. Turn left at the sign and follow the road until you reach the rafting area.

  • Public Transportation

    To get to Chao Dong Raft via public transportation, you can take a bus from Kanchanaburi to Tha Kradan. Buses leave regularly from the Kanchanaburi bus terminal. The fare is about 50 THB. Once you arrive in Tha Kradan, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local tuk-tuk (around 100 THB) to Chao Dong Raft. Be sure to ask the tuk-tuk driver to drop you off at the rafting location.

  • Walking from Erawan Waterfall

    If you are already at the Erawan Waterfall area within the national park, you can walk towards the exit and follow the signs to Tha Kradan. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and will take about 30-40 minutes. Enjoy the scenery as you walk along the path. Once you reach Tha Kradan, you can either continue walking to Chao Dong Raft (about another 1 kilometer) or hire a tuk-tuk to take you there.
