Walking
If you are starting from Hua Hin's city center, head south on Phetchakasem Road (Highway 4) towards the beach. Walk until you reach the intersection with Naresdamri Road, where you will see the beautiful Hua Hin beach. Continue walking along Naresdamri Road until you reach the end, where you will find the entrance to Khao Takiab Beach. From there, walk along the beach road, which will lead you towards Khao Takiab Hill. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. As you approach Khao Takiab Hill, you will see signs directing you to the viewpoint (จุดชมวิวเขาตะเกียบ). Follow these signs uphill, and you will reach the viewpoint, which offers stunning panoramic views of the coastline and the city.

Tuk Tuk
If you prefer a quicker route, you can take a tuk-tuk from Hua Hin city center to Khao Takiab. You can find tuk-tuks near the Hua Hin Night Market or along Phetchakasem Road. Simply tell the driver 'Khao Takiab' or show them a map or a printed address (GX8J+7P9, Nong Kae). The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the base of Khao Takiab Hill. From there, follow the signs to the viewpoint. It's a short walk uphill to reach the scenic spot.

Another option is to take a songthaew (shared taxi) from Hua Hin. You can catch one from the main road; they typically have a route sign indicating 'Khao Takiab' or 'Takiab Beach'. The fare is usually inexpensive, around 20-30 baht per person. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Takiab area, ask the driver to drop you off near the foot of Khao Takiab Hill. From there, follow the signs leading you to the viewpoint at the top.
