Walking
If you are starting from the Kanchanaburi Train Station, head south on Phothisat Road for about 1.5 kilometers. As you walk, you will pass local shops and eateries. Keep walking straight until you reach the T-intersection at the end of the road. Turn right onto the main Sukhumvit Road (Highway 3199) and continue for roughly 3 kilometers. You will see the Giant Raintree (Monkey Pod Tree) on your left side, just off the road.
Tuk-Tuk
From any location in Kanchanaburi, you can easily find a tuk-tuk. Just tell the driver you want to go to the Giant Raintree (Monkey Pod Tree) located in Ko Samrong. The fare should range from 100 to 200 Baht depending on your starting point. The driver will know the exact location and drop you right at the entrance.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Kanchanaburi. Start your journey from the center of town, heading south on Phothisat Road. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn right onto Sukhumvit Road (Highway 3199) and continue for about 3 kilometers. The Giant Raintree will be on your left. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes.
Motorbike Taxi
For a quicker option, you can take a motorbike taxi. Look for a motorbike taxi stand or signal a passing driver. Inform them you want to go to the Giant Raintree (Monkey Pod Tree) in Ko Samrong. The fare is typically between 50 to 100 Baht. They will navigate through the traffic and drop you off at the entrance.
