Walking
If you are starting from the Kanchanaburi bus station, exit the station and head south towards the main road, Thanon Sukhaphiban 2. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with River Kwai Road. Turn left onto River Kwai Road and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. The River Khwae Bridge will be on your right-hand side.
Tuk-Tuk
To reach the River Khwae Bridge by tuk-tuk, you can find tuk-tuk drivers waiting near popular tourist spots or the Kanchanaburi bus station. Simply tell the driver 'สะพานข้ามแม่น้ำแคว' (Sapan Kham Maenam Khwae) which means River Khwae Bridge in Thai. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic, and you can expect to pay around 50-100 THB.
Bicycle Rental
If you enjoy cycling, consider renting a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Kanchanaburi. After renting, head south on Thanon Sukhaphiban 2 for about 1 kilometer, then turn left onto River Kwai Road. Continue cycling for about 1 kilometer until you see the River Khwae Bridge on your right. This route is relatively flat and offers a nice view of the surroundings.
