From the Kanchanaburi bus station, exit the bus terminal and head east on Phahonyothin Road for about 200 meters until you reach the intersection with Sangkhlaburi Road. Keep an eye out for local signage that may indicate directions to Ban Kao. After 1 kilometer, turn left onto Ban Kao Road and walk for another 1.5 kilometers. The museum will be on your left, with a sign indicating 'Ban Kao National Museum'.
