Getting There

• Train

  From Kanchanaburi, head to the Kanchanaburi Train Station, which is located in the city center. Purchase a ticket for the train heading towards Nam Tok station. The train ride takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Nam Tok station, exit the train and look for local transport options such as songthaews (shared taxis) that can take you to Namtok Sai Yok Noi. Inform the driver of your destination, which is approximately 15 km away and should take around 20-30 minutes.

• Songthaew

  If you're already in Kanchanaburi and prefer direct transport, find a songthaew (shared taxi) that operates along the route to Sai Yok. Head to the local market area, where songthaews frequently depart. Confirm with the driver that they are heading towards Sai Yok. The fare is usually around 30-50 THB, and the trip will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Request to be dropped off at Namtok Sai Yok Noi.

• Motorbike Taxi

  For a quicker and more direct option, consider hiring a motorbike taxi. You can find motorbike taxi stands around the city center. Negotiate the fare with the driver before starting your journey. The trip to Namtok Sai Yok Noi should take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs around 200-300 THB.

• Bicycle Rental

  For the adventurous traveler, rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Kanchanaburi. Follow the main road towards Sai Yok, which is about 60 km away. It’s a scenic route with beautiful views. Plan for a long ride (approximately 3-4 hours), and ensure you have enough water and snacks. Once you reach Sai Yok, follow signs to Namtok Sai Yok Noi, which is well-marked.
