Getting There

• Public Bus

  For a more direct route, you can take a motorbike taxi from Kanchanaburi town. Head to a nearby motorbike taxi stand; they are commonly found near convenience stores or busy streets. Negotiate the fare with the driver, which should be around 150-250 THB depending on your starting point. Ask to be taken to the River Kwai Village Hotel. The ride typically takes about 30-40 minutes.

• Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

  Another option is to take a songthaew, which is a shared pickup truck that operates as a taxi. You can find songthaews near the main market or bus station in Kanchanaburi. Board a songthaew heading towards Sai Yok or Erawan National Park and again inform the driver you want to go to River Kwai Village Hotel. The fare is usually around 60-100 THB and the ride will take approximately 1 hour.
