Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Khao Yai National Park. Drive along Route 2090 towards Hin Tang. Follow the signs for Kong Kaew Waterfall. The waterfall is approximately 18 kilometers from the park entrance. The road is well-maintained, but be cautious of wildlife crossing. There is no entrance fee specifically for the waterfall, but there is a general entrance fee for Khao Yai National Park, which is around 400 THB for foreigners and 40 THB for Thai citizens. Make sure to pay this fee at the entrance.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a minivan from Pak Chong to the Khao Yai National Park area. Once you reach the park, you will need to hire a local taxi or songthaew (shared taxi) to take you to Kong Kaew Waterfall. The minivan fare from Pak Chong to the park is approximately 50-100 THB. The taxi or songthaew to the waterfall could cost an additional 300-500 THB, depending on your negotiation skills and the number of passengers.

Walking
If you prefer to hike to the waterfall from a nearby point, you can park your vehicle at one of the designated parking areas and walk the remaining distance. The hiking trail to Kong Kaew Waterfall is about 1.5 kilometers from the closest parking area. Make sure to wear good hiking shoes and bring plenty of water. The trail is moderately easy, but can be slippery during the rainy season.
