Car
If you are traveling by car within Khao Yai National Park, start from the Visitor Center located near the main entrance. Head southeast on Route 2090 towards Pak Chong. After approximately 6 kilometers, turn left onto the road leading to the Pha Kluai Mai Camping Ground. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers, where you will see signs directing you to the camping area. Note that there may be a small entrance fee to access the park, typically around 400 THB for adults and 200 THB for children.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Bangkok to Pak Chong. Buses leave from the Mo Chit Bus Terminal and the journey takes around 3-4 hours. Once you arrive in Pak Chong, you can take a local taxi or songthaew (shared taxi) towards Khao Yai National Park. Inform the driver that you want to go to Pha Kluai Mai Camping Ground. The fare should be around 300-400 THB. The driver will drop you off at the main entrance of the park, from which you will need to walk or take a short taxi ride to the camping ground, which is approximately 5 kilometers inside the park.

If you are already within Khao Yai National Park and wish to walk to Pha Kluai Mai Camping Ground, start from the Visitor Center and head south on the main road. It is approximately a 5-kilometer walk and may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Ensure you have plenty of water and wear comfortable walking shoes, as the trails may be uneven. Look out for wildlife along the way and enjoy the scenic views of the park.
