If you are driving, start from your accommodation in Koh Lanta and head towards Sala Dan. Use the main road (Route 4245) which runs through the island. Follow the signs towards Sala Dan and keep an eye out for the Lanta Animal Welfare signs. After about 10-15 minutes of driving, you will arrive at Lanta Animal Welfare located at 629, Sala Dan, Ko Lanta District, Krabi 81150. There is parking available on-site.

Songthaew (Shared Taxi)
If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a Songthaew, which is a shared taxi that runs along the main road. You can catch a Songthaew from various points on the island, especially near popular beaches. Inform the driver that you want to go to Lanta Animal Welfare. The fare is usually around 30-50 THB per person, depending on your starting point. The journey will take about 20-30 minutes. The Songthaew will drop you off at the entrance to Lanta Animal Welfare.

Motorbike Rental
For a more adventurous option, consider renting a motorbike. Rental shops can be found in most tourist areas. After renting, head towards Sala Dan using Route 4245. This method gives you the flexibility to explore other areas of Koh Lanta as well. Ensure you wear a helmet and carry your driving license. The cost to rent a motorbike is around 200-300 THB per day. Follow the signs to Lanta Animal Welfare, and you will arrive in about 10-15 minutes.
