Car
To reach Khao Ra in Koh Phangan by car, start from Thong Sala Pier and head north on the main road towards Chaloklum. After about 15 kilometers, you will reach the turnoff for Khao Ra. Follow this road for another 3 kilometers until you reach the base of the mountain. From there, you can either hike to the summit or hire a local guide for assistance.

If you are taking public transportation to Khao Ra, you can take a Songthaew (shared taxi) from Thong Sala Pier to Chaloklum. From Chaloklum, you can hire a motorbike taxi to take you to the base of Khao Ra. Alternatively, you can take a Songthaew to the closest point and then hike the rest of the way to the summit.
