Walking
If you are staying in Chaweng, start by walking towards Chaweng Beach Road. From there, head north along the beach until you reach the intersection with Route 4169. Turn left onto Route 4169 and continue walking for approximately 2.5 km. You will see signs directing you towards Bo Put. Continue straight until you reach the Bo Put area. Look for the large statue on your left side, it is situated near the Fisherman's Village.
Songthaew (shared taxi)
Find a Songthaew along the main roads in Chaweng or Lamai. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to the Luang Phor Thuad's Statue in Bo Put. The fare is usually around 50 to 100 THB, depending on your starting point. You can also ask the driver to drop you off at Fisherman's Village, from which the statue is a short walk away.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Chaweng or Lamai. Head towards Route 4169, and cycle north until you hit Bo Put. The ride takes about 25 to 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Bo Put, look for the signs leading to the Luang Phor Thuad's Statue, which is situated close to the coast near Fisherman's Village.
Motorbike Taxi
For a quicker option, hire a motorbike taxi from your hotel or a nearby location. Tell the driver to take you to Luang Phor Thuad's Statue in Bo Put. The ride should take about 15 minutes depending on traffic, and the fare is typically around 100 to 150 THB.
