Getting There

Walk
If you are starting from the popular area of Chaweng, head towards the Chaweng Beach Road (Route 4169). Walk north along the road until you reach the intersection with Route 417. This is approximately a 30-minute walk. Once you reach Route 417, you can catch a local songthaew (shared taxi) heading towards Nathon. Make sure to tell the driver that you want to get off near Than Song Praeng Waterfall.

Songthaew
From Chaweng, take the songthaew to Nathon. The fare is typically around 50-100 THB and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Nathon, you will need to switch to another songthaew that goes towards Than Song Praeng Waterfall. Inform the driver of your destination, as not all songthaews may go directly there.

Hike
After getting dropped off at the entrance to Than Song Praeng, you will have to walk a short distance to reach the waterfall itself. Follow the signs that will lead you to the waterfall trail. The hike is relatively easy and takes about 15-20 minutes. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be rocky.
