Getting There

Car
If you're driving, start from Thong Sala, the main town of Koh Phangan. Head southeast on Route 4171 towards Ban Tai. Continue on this road for about 5 km. As you approach Ban Tai, look for the signs pointing to 'Wat Khao Tham'. The temple is situated on a hill off the main road, so keep an eye out for the entrance on your left. There is no entry fee to visit the temple.

Songthaew (Public Transport)
If you're using public transport, take a Songthaew (shared taxi) from Thong Sala. You can catch one from the Songthaew station, which is located near the pier. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to Wat Khao Tham. The fare should be around 50-100 THB per person, depending on your starting point. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the temple. From there, it's a short walk up to the temple grounds.

Motorbike Rental
Renting a motorbike is a popular option among tourists. You can rent a motorbike in Thong Sala for around 150-300 THB per day. Once you have your bike, follow the same route as if you were driving a car: head southeast on Route 4171 towards Ban Tai. Look for the signs for Wat Khao Tham. There is parking available at the temple entrance, and it's a great way to enjoy the scenic views on the way.
