Getting There

Walking
From the center of Chaweng, head south towards the beach. Walk along Chaweng Beach Road, which is lined with shops and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Route 4169 (also known as the ring road). At this junction, you will find plenty of local landmarks to help you navigate.

Songthaew (Shared Taxi)
After reaching Route 4169, look for a Songthaew heading towards Bo Put. The fare is typically around 30-50 THB per person. You can catch a Songthaew from designated stops or wave one down on the side of the road. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'Chinatown' or 'Bo Put'. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.

Walking from the Songthaew Drop-off
Once you arrive at Bo Put, get off the Songthaew near the main entrance to Bo Put's Fisherman's Village. From there, head towards the beach, and you will start to see signs for 苏梅岛中国城 Chinatown Samui. It is a short 5-10 minute walk from the drop-off point along the main road.
