Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the central area of Bophut, you can walk to Luang Phor Thuad's Statue. Start from Fisherman's Village, which is a popular tourist spot. Head east along the main road (Route 4169) for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and restaurants. Continue until you reach the intersection with Route 4171. Turn left and walk for about 300 meters. The statue will be on your right side, just after the Thai temple.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, many rental shops in Bophut offer bicycles. From Fisherman's Village, cycle east along Route 4169 for about 1 kilometer. Once you reach the intersection with Route 4171, turn left and continue cycling for about 300 meters. The statue will be on your right. Be mindful of traffic, especially as you approach the intersection.

• Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

  You can take a songthaew, which is a local shared taxi, from various points in Bophut. Look for a songthaew heading towards Chaweng or the Big Buddha. Get on and inform the driver you are going to Luang Phor Thuad's Statue. The fare is typically around 30-50 THB per person. The driver will drop you off near the statue, which is located close to the main road.

• Motorbike Taxi

  For a quicker option, consider hiring a motorbike taxi. You can find them near busy areas like Fisherman's Village. Negotiate the fare before you start your ride; it should cost around 100-150 THB to reach the statue. The driver will take you directly to the statue, making it a convenient choice if you are short on time.
