Getting There

• Car

  If you have access to a car in Koh Yao Noi, start by driving towards the main pier, which is located in the central part of the island. Follow signs towards the 'Koh Yao Noi Pier' (also known as 'Ban Tha Khao Pier'). The drive should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your starting point. Once you reach the pier, you will need to park your car in the designated parking area (cost may vary, approximately 20-50 THB per day). From the pier, you can hire a long-tail boat to Nok Island. The boat ride will take about 30 minutes and costs around 1,500-3,000 THB for a private boat, or you can join a group for a lower cost.

• Public Transportation

  Using public transportation, head to the nearest local bus stop and take a songthaew (shared taxi) towards the main pier of Koh Yao Noi. The fare for a songthaew is typically around 30-50 THB per person. Once you reach the pier, you will need to board a long-tail boat to Nok Island. If you are lucky, you might find a group going, which can reduce the cost of the boat ride significantly, usually around 300-500 THB per person if you share. The boat ride takes about 30 minutes.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Koh Yao Noi. Cycle towards the main pier, which is approximately 6-8 km away, depending on your starting location. The ride will take you approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the pier, you will still need to hire a long-tail boat to Nok Island, which will cost you around 1,500-3,000 THB for a private boat.
