Getting There
Boat
From Krabi Town, head to Ao Nang Beach by taking a local songthaew (shared taxi) or tuk-tuk, which costs around 50-100 THB and takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ao Nang Beach, look for the ticket booth for long-tail boats to Railay Beach. Purchase a ticket (around 100-150 THB) and board the boat, which will take approximately 15 minutes to reach Railay Beach.
Hiking
Upon arriving at Railay Beach, walk towards the East Railay side. Follow the path that leads to the East Railay Viewpoint Trailhead. The trail starts near the east side of Railay Beach and is marked with signs. Be prepared for a steep climb; it takes about 30-45 minutes to reach the viewpoint. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. The hike offers stunning views and photo opportunities along the way.
Return Journey
To return to Krabi, retrace your steps back down to Railay Beach. From there, take a long-tail boat back to Ao Nang Beach. After arriving at Ao Nang, you can catch another songthaew or tuk-tuk back to Krabi Town.
