The Enigmatic Mud Crabs Sculpture: A Must-See in Krabi

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Krabi Town, head towards the Thara Park area. Once you reach Thara Park, continue walking along the riverside path. Follow the path until you reach the Krabi River. At the river, you will see a small bridge; cross the bridge to the other side. After crossing, turn left and continue walking along the riverside. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards the Mud Crabs Sculpture. It is located in a public area close to the waterfront.

• Bicycle

  From Krabi Town, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Cycle towards the Krabi River and follow the riverside path. Make sure to take the route through Thara Park for a scenic view. Once you reach the river, cross the small bridge and then turn left. Continue cycling along the waterfront path until you see the Mud Crabs Sculpture. It should be easily visible from the path.

• Long-Tail Boat

  If you want a unique approach, consider taking a long-tail boat from the Krabi Pier. Head to the pier and look for boats offering rides along the river. Inform the boat operator that you would like to go to the Mud Crabs Sculpture. The boat will take you along the river, and after a short ride, you will be dropped off near the sculpture. Be sure to confirm the drop-off point with the operator.

• Tuk-Tuk

  From Krabi Town, find a tuk-tuk at one of the designated stands. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Mud Crabs Sculpture. The driver will take you to the nearby area, as tuk-tuks can navigate the streets of Krabi. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the sculpture, so follow the local signs or ask locals for directions.
