From Loei city center, head to the Loei Bus Terminal (Terminal 1) located on Phosri Road. Look for buses heading to Phu Ruea or Tha Sala. The journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Tha Sala bus stop, from there, you can take a local songthaew (shared taxi) to Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary. Make sure to tell the driver your destination.

If you are in the center of Loei, you can also find songthaews that travel to Phu Ruea. Board one of these songthaews, and inform the driver that you wish to go to Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary. The ride will take about 1 hour. The songthaew will drop you off at the entrance of the sanctuary.

Motorbike Taxi
For a more direct option, you may hire a motorbike taxi. You can find them in various locations in Loei city. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The ride to Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary takes approximately 45 minutes. Ensure the driver knows the exact location, which is Tha Sala, Phu Ruea District.
