Walking
Start from the Mae Hong Son Walking Street in the town center. Head north on Chao Pha Road until you reach the intersection with the main road (Highway 108). Turn left onto Highway 108 and walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Huai Pong Road. Continue straight on Highway 108, then look for signs indicating the direction to Hmong Microwave viewpoint. Follow the signs as you make your way. The total walk is around 4-5 kilometers, so be prepared for a bit of a trek.
Public Transport (Songthaew)
From Mae Hong Son town center, find a local Songthaew (shared taxi) that is heading towards Huai Pong. You can catch one near the Walking Street or the bus station. Inform the driver that you want to go to Hmong Microwave viewpoint. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the closest drop-off point, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the viewpoint.
Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Mae Hong Son, often found near the city center. Cycle north on Chao Pha Road, then take a left onto Highway 108. Continue cycling until you find signs for Huai Pong. The ride will be approximately 4-5 kilometers and may take about 25-30 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
