If you are starting from the center of Mae Hong Son, walk towards the Mae Hong Son Walking Street. From there, head north on Ratchadamnoen Road until you reach the intersection with Highway 108. Cross the road and continue walking north until you reach the bus station on your right. This is where you can catch a local songthaew (pickup truck taxi) to Pha Bong. The songthaew should take you to Pha Bong, and you can ask the driver to drop you off near the waterfall.

From the Mae Hong Son bus station, hop onto a songthaew heading to Pha Bong. The journey should take about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to Pha Bong Waterfall. They are familiar with the location and will drop you off close to the entrance. Once you get dropped off, follow the signs leading to the waterfall, which is about a 15-minute walk from the drop-off point.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Mae Hong Son. Head north from the center towards Highway 108.
