If you are driving from Chiang Rai city, head north on Route 1 (Phahonyothin Road) for approximately 40 kilometers. Once you reach the junction in Wiang Kaen District, turn left onto Route 1149. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers, and you will find signs directing you to Kaeng Pha Dai. Keep an eye out for the entrance, which is near the village of Huai Luk.

To reach Kaeng Pha Dai via public transport, start by taking a bus from Chiang Rai's bus terminal to Wiang Kaen District. The journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours and costs approximately 50-70 THB. Once you arrive in Wiang Kaen, you can take a local songthaew (shared taxi) heading to Huai Luk village. The fare for the songthaew should be around 20-30 THB. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off near Kaeng Pha Dai.
