If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Nong Khai bus station to Sangkhom District. The bus ride usually takes around 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Sangkhom, you may need to take a local songthaew (shared taxi) to Pha Tang. The fare for the songthaew should be around 30-50 THB per person. Ask the driver to drop you off at Wat Pha Tak Suea.
