Continue on Route 12 until you reach the junction for Route 211. Turn left onto Route 211 and follow the signs to the town of Tha Bo. From Tha Bo, take Route 2826 which will lead you closer to Nong Mi. Remember to watch for local road signs indicating Nong Mi, as some sections may not be marked clearly. Once you get closer, you may need to navigate smaller roads; having offline maps can be helpful in this area. Fuel costs will vary, so ensure your vehicle is filled up before you begin your journey.

  To reach Nong Mi using public transportation, start by taking a bus or minivan from your current location in the Mekong River Region to Nong Khai. Buses leave regularly from major towns, and the fare is usually quite affordable (around 100-200 THB). Once you arrive in Nong Khai, locate the local bus station and find a bus heading towards Tha Bo. The fare for this leg should be around 30-50 THB. Once in Tha Bo, you can either hire a tuk-tuk or a songthaew (shared taxi) to take you to Nong Mi, which may cost approximately 100-150 THB. Be sure to confirm with the driver that they know how to get to Nong Mi, as it may not be a well-known destination.
