Walking
If you are starting from Nan's city center, make your way to the Nan Municipal Office located at 2 Thung Chang Road. From there, head northeast on Thung Chang Road until you reach the intersection with the Phu Phiang Road. Turn left onto Phu Phiang Road and continue walking straight. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see signs for Wat Phra That Chae Haeng. The temple is located approximately 500 meters further down the road on your right.
Tuk-Tuk
You can easily hail a tuk-tuk from any location in the city center. Simply tell the driver 'Wat Phra That Chae Haeng' or show them the address: หมู่ที่ 3 89 Muang Tuet, Phu Phiang District, Nan 55000. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Tuk-tuks are a popular and affordable way to travel in Nan.
Songthaew (Shared Taxi)
Find a songthaew route that goes towards Phu Phiang. You can catch a songthaew from the main bus station or designated songthaew stops in the city center. Inform the driver that you wish to go to Wat Phra That Chae Haeng. The fare is usually very affordable, and the journey takes around 20-30 minutes.
