Walking
If you are starting from the Nan City Centre, head east on Phaya Phu Road until you reach the intersection with Suriyapong Road. Turn left onto Suriyapong Road and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You'll pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Wat Ming Mueang will be on your left, marked by its distinctive white architecture.
Tuk-Tuk
From your hotel or any central location in Nan, find a tuk-tuk and tell the driver to take you to Wat Ming Mueang. Most drivers will be familiar with the location. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the price before getting in, which usually ranges from 30 to 50 THB.
Bicycle
If you’re renting a bicycle, start from the Nan City Centre. Cycle east on Phaya Phu Road and when you reach the intersection with Suriyapong Road, turn left. Continue for about 1 kilometer, and you will see Wat Ming Mueang on your left. Cycling is a pleasant way to explore the area and you can stop at local shops along the way.
Songthaew (Shared Taxi)
Find a songthaew that is heading towards the city center or specifically to the area of Nai Wiang. The fare is usually around 20-30 THB. Once you are dropped off at a convenient stop near Suriyapong Road, walk towards Suriyapong Road and head left for about 200 meters to reach Wat Ming Mueang.
