If you are driving from Isan to The Big Buddha in Phuket, head south on Route 2 (Asian Highway 2) towards Nakhon Ratchasima. Upon reaching Nakhon Ratchasima, take Route 224 towards Pak Chong and continue on Route 2 until you reach the junction for Route 4. Merge onto Route 4, which will take you directly to Phuket. Once in Phuket, follow signs towards Karon Beach. The Big Buddha is located on Nakkerd Hill, which is well-signposted. Parking is available near the entrance. Note that some parking areas may require a small fee.

To travel by bus from Isan to Phuket, you can catch an intercity bus from major cities like Nakhon Ratchasima or Khon Kaen to Phuket. Once you arrive at the Phuket Bus Terminal, take a local bus (Songthaew) or a taxi to Karon. The Songthaew will take you to Karon Beach area. From Karon Beach, you can either walk or take a taxi to The Big Buddha, which is approximately 3 km from the beach. Expect to pay around 30-50 THB for the Songthaew ride.
