Getting There

  • Ferry

    From Pattaya, head to Bali Hai Pier. You can take a songthaew (shared taxi) from anywhere in Pattaya to the pier; just tell the driver 'Bali Hai Pier'. Once you arrive at the pier, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Ko Lan. Ferries operate regularly, typically every hour, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to check the schedule upon arrival as it may vary.

  • Speedboat

    Alternatively, you can take a speedboat from Bali Hai Pier to Ko Lan for a faster option. Similar to the ferry, you can take a songthaew to the pier. Speedboats may be more expensive but will get you to the island in about 15-20 minutes. Look for the speedboat ticket counter upon arrival at the pier.

  • Walking

    If you are staying near the beach, you can walk to Bali Hai Pier. From Walking Street, head towards the end of the street until you reach the waterfront. Follow the promenade to the right until you arrive at the pier. This walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
