Public Bus

From Phuket Town, you can take a local bus (Songthaew) that runs regularly to various beaches on Phuket Island. Look for the blue Songthaews that indicate they go to Patong Beach, Kata Beach, or Karon Beach. The fare is around 30-50 THB depending on your destination, and the trip may take about 40-60 minutes.

Taxi

For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Phuket Province to Phuket Island. Ensure that the driver uses the meter or agree on a fare beforehand. The cost can vary widely, typically ranging from 600 to 1,200 THB depending on your pick-up point and destination on the island. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes.

Motorbike Taxi

If you are traveling solo and are comfortable on a motorbike, you can use a motorbike taxi service. They are readily available in Phuket Town. Prices range from 50 to 150 THB depending on the distance. This option can be faster but is recommended only if you are familiar with riding.

Ferry (for nearby islands)
